Given that Business Of Sport has been around for nearly four years (where has the time gone?!), I decided now was the ideal time to change and freshen up my website.
To be honest, the old site had gone stale and had countless bugs. Also, I’ve been hearing from readers, friends and colleagues that while it the site was good, it could be better.
But I’ve still cranked out content relating to eSports, women’s football, Formula One and the UFC.
In addition, the real impetus for this change now came for two reasons.
Firstly, I’ve moved to a new continent (see this post for more information) and secondly, the current environment gave me some extra space to think about implementing significant changes to Business Of Sport.
What’s changed at Business Of Sport?
There are two key changes to Business Of Sport:
- Rename: We’re losing the .net and going with Business Of Sport moving forward
- Redesign: Firstly, the site’s design has been completely overhauled. It is easier to navigate, less buggy and easier to read across any device
- Content: Secondly, content is much easier to find, with top posts featured in the banner image. One of the biggest complaints was that older content got “lost” and I hope that this redesign gets rid of that issue
- Newsletter: I’ve also got a newsletter together, in which the latest posts will be delivered directly to your email once a week. You can sign up for the You Heard It Here newsletter on this page
Business Of Sport will still keep producing analysis, interviews and an increased number of reviews and year-on-year the site is growing and that is thanks to you readers and supporters.
